Flipview has helped our organization which is quite a devolved leadership team, to understand at a group level where all of the risks are in each of the divisions. Prior to using Flipview each of the divisions had its own way of reporting. Each one of our businesses looked at risk differently, and Flipview has helped us consolidate those risks and allowed us at an exec level to understand what is going on within each of the groups.
It’s a great product, as an organisation we understand that risks and opportunities are things that can’t be left to happen on their own, they are things that need to be managed and brought to life.
Risk management as a discipline needs a shakeup. It's been stuck using the same approaches and tools for a long time. Many of these have been found wanting when crises have hit. Risk dynamics has challenged, and from their fresh thinking about how to consider, assess and respond to risks. It has changed the way I think about risk.
Identification and categorisation of risk is an inherently subjective process. Flipview has been invaluable it bringing together our Executive team and delivering a quality output. We look forward to deepening our relationship with Flipview as we move into our strategic planning cycle.
FlipView offers a really nice and straightforward mechanism to translate our strategy (including the internal and external risk factors to achieving it) to a format that our board and management team can both understand.
Whilst fairly new to Flipview, we’ve found it to be immediately valuable as it illuminates and aggregates risks and opportunities, many of which were not visible or top of mind for our SLT. The staff survey feature was immensely useful to surface team sentiment and a great pulse check on team culture.

When we needed to have a significant review and update of our risk framework, including updating the base data through a questionnaire process, it was hard to find a willing internal candidate for the work. When Ben was recommended to us he immediately provided an energy and discipline to the data collection, recording and analysis process which was impressive. As a result he has now provided us with a fantastic database to build our new reporting on. Being a software company ourselves we saw that the software solution that Ben has developed could then provide the tool for better reporting to the Board and management along with a process to regularly update the data in a structured way.
